Jeddah hospital project

Red Sea International has secured a $58.6 million contract for the Jeddah hospital project, a significant healthcare facility set to rise in Saudi Arabia’s South Obhur district. The project, awarded to its subsidiary, Fundamental Installation for Electric Work Company, will be a 19-storey hospital, contributing to the Kingdom’s expanding healthcare infrastructure.

Jeddah hospital project scope and MEP contract
The Jeddah hospital project will feature a 19-storey building with two basement levels. Red Sea International’s subsidiary will be responsible for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works, including installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring the hospital is equipped with top-tier systems.

In addition to MEP work, the project will also include screed, internal partitions, and other civil works. The ambitious timeline for the Jeddah hospital project has set a completion target of 420 calendar days, underscoring the fast-paced nature of the construction process.

Fast-track construction timeline
The hospital project is designed for swift delivery, with a 420-day timeline. This will help Saudi Arabia continue to meet its growing demand for healthcare services and improve the local infrastructure in the South Obhur district.

Impact on Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector
This hospital project is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 plan, which includes significant investments in healthcare infrastructure. The new facility will be strategically located in a rapidly developing area, ensuring enhanced access to medical care for local residents and the wider community.
