Four Seasons Diriyah Deal

Diriyah Company has taken another significant step in Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tourism development with a groundbreaking $827 million deal for a new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences in Diriyah. This collaboration with Midad Development and Real Estate Investment marks a milestone in the Kingdom’s plan to reshape its tourism and hospitality landscape.

A Luxury Addition to Diriyah’s Expansive Vision
The newly signed deal covers the construction of a 159-room luxury hotel and a set of exclusive private residences spanning a vast 235,938 square meters within the Diriyah masterplan. Diriyah, which is at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s tourism transformation, is poised to become a global luxury destination, alongside the adjacent Wadi Safar project, a 62-square-kilometer enclave dedicated to leisure, culture, and high-end living.

Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the Minister of Tourism and Secretary-General of Diriyah Company, stated, “Saudi Arabia continues to set new benchmarks in destination development, and Diriyah stands at the forefront of this evolution.” This partnership underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing its global tourism offerings.

The Impact of the Diriyah Masterplan
The agreement comes as part of the broader $63.2 billion Diriyah project, which is already making waves in the real estate sector with over $27 billion in construction contracts awarded. When completed, Diriyah will contribute $18.6 billion annually to the Saudi GDP, create over 180,000 jobs, and welcome up to 50 million visitors per year. The area will feature 40 luxury resorts, office spaces, museums, shopping districts, and an opera house, solidifying Saudi Arabia’s position as a major global destination.

Midad’s Role and Vision for the Future

Midad Real Estate, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading developers, has expressed excitement over this project, emphasizing its importance in bringing the Four Seasons experience to one of the Kingdom’s most significant heritage locations. This venture represents a pivotal moment for Midad as they work to enhance the Kingdom’s tourism, cultural, and economic ambitions.

A Commitment to Sustainable Growth and Global Appeal

The development of the Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah is a reflection of Saudi Arabia’s larger vision for a diversified economy through the tourism and hospitality sectors. The project is expected to set a new standard for luxury in the region and attract high-net-worth visitors from around the globe, particularly as the country’s Vision 2030 continues to unfold.

With this transformative partnership, Diriyah is poised to become a beacon of luxury tourism in the Middle East, offering world-class accommodations, high-end shopping, and unmatched cultural experiences in the heart of Saudi Arabia.
