The new Huawei AI alliance unveiled in Singapore marks a major milestone in the country’s push toward industry-wide artificial intelligence adoption. Announced at the Huawei Cloud & AI Partner Summit Singapore 2025, the initiative reflects a strong commitment to helping local companies build, deploy, and scale AI solutions with real business impact.
Held under the theme “AI Pioneer in Industries,” the summit highlighted how quickly Singapore has embraced advanced technologies. With nearly 70% of businesses now using AI in their operations, demand for stronger cloud platforms and powerful computing tools continues to rise. Huawei Cloud positioned the new alliance as a foundation for Singapore’s next phase of digital growth, emphasising practical applications and industry-specific transformation.
Industry collaboration deepens under the Huawei AI alliance
The Huawei AI alliance brings together global and regional technology leaders to drive innovation across multiple sectors. Key partners include YITU Technology, Weaver Network International, Sunline Holding, TrustDecision, Udesk, iFLYTEK, Neuxnet, Sefonsoft, and AiMall. Each organisation contributes specialised expertise ranging from computer vision and financial intelligence to workflow automation and multilingual customer service.
During his keynote address, Huawei Cloud APAC CTO Wu Shiwei said the shift toward large-scale GenAI adoption must be guided by real business needs. He emphasized that companies today require integrated systems that combine AI infrastructure, development tools, and data-driven applications. This approach, he noted, allows organisations to launch advanced AI solutions faster and more efficiently.
Practical innovation showcased through the Huawei AI alliance
Several partners demonstrated how AI solves real-world challenges. YITU shared advancements in video intelligence that support smart city solutions. Weaver presented AI-enabled workflow tools that automate contracts and invoices. Sunline showcased its DataMind platform, which helps banks unify and govern data. TrustDecision highlighted its AI-powered risk engine designed to combat fraud in modern finance.
Other partners focused on multilingual communications, intelligent customer support, and deep automation for enterprise operations. AiMall demonstrated how Phygital AI reduces retail losses, improves staff training, and enhances store-level decision-making.
