Huawei has announced that its FreeBuds Pro 5 and FreeClip 2 earphones have achieved NearLink certification from the International Sparklink Alliance, marking a significant milestone in audio technology. This makes them the first audio products in the industry to receive this certification, further solidifying Huawei’s commitment to superior audio performance and connectivity.
NearLink Certification: A New Standard for Audio Devices
The Telecommunication Technology Certification Center Co., Ltd. (TTC) issued the certification, authorizing the NearLink technology. With the FreeBuds Pro 5 and FreeClip 2 now holding the certification numbers iSLA012025003-0000001 and iSLA012025003-0000002, Huawei has raised the bar for wireless audio technology.
This certification highlights the FreeBuds Pro 5’s capability to offer faster audio transmission through the advanced NearLink 2.0 technology, powered by the Kirin A3 chip. This chip boosts the audio transmission rate to 16 Mbps, ensuring faster and more stable connections. Additionally, the dual-band communication (2.4GHz/5.8GHz) and optimized antenna design ensure a stable link, while the device offers high-res audio with 96 kHz/24-bit lossless transmission.
Stunning Audio Features and Design
The FreeBuds Pro 5 features a Star Ring design with a diamond-cut faceted ring, which not only adds a premium look but also enhances sound-gathering capabilities. Huawei’s design process for these earbuds was based on the analysis of over 10,000 human ear data points, ensuring an ultra-comfortable and lightweight fit.
The Kirin A3 chip inside the FreeBuds Pro 5 is equipped with dual DSP (digital signal processor) and dual DAC (digital-to-analog converter) audio drivers. These enhancements deliver superior sound quality, while the dual-magnetic circuit bass unit offers deep, powerful bass reaching down to 10Hz. Meanwhile, the micro-planar tweeter delivers crystal-clear highs, reaching up to 48 kHz.
AI-Powered Noise Cancellation
Another key feature of the FreeBuds Pro 5 is its dual-engine AI noise cancellation, which provides improved background noise reduction over previous generations. This means users can enjoy an immersive listening experience, whether they are in a noisy environment or simply want to block out distractions.
With NearLink certification and advanced features like the Kirin A3 chip and dual-engine AI noise cancellation, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 and FreeClip 2 set a new standard for audio performance and connectivity. These earbuds offer not only exceptional sound quality but also seamless integration with the Huawei ecosystem, making them a top choice for audio enthusiasts.
This new certification marks another step forward for Huawei’s audio technology, confirming its place at the forefront of innovation in the wireless audio market.
