iPhone 18 Pro redesign

A new iPhone 18 Pro redesign leak is generating excitement among Apple fans, offering an early look at what could be the company’s most dramatic design update in years. Shared through a detailed render video by well-known tipster Jon Prosser, the leak outlines changes to the phone’s front display, camera layout, physical buttons, and colour options.

Although Apple has not confirmed any details, the visuals suggest the iPhone 18 Pro could mark a clear break from recent design trends, especially on the front of the device.

iPhone 18 Pro Redesign May Shrink the Front Cutout

One of the biggest highlights of the iPhone 18 Pro redesign is the front display. Apple has relied on a pill-shaped cutout for several generations, but the new renders indicate a much smaller opening. According to the leak, some Face ID components may move under the display, leaving only a single punch-hole for the selfie camera.

Interestingly, the front camera appears positioned toward the top-left corner rather than centered. If accurate, this would be a noticeable change for long-time iPhone users and could reshape how apps and notifications are displayed.

New Colours Add Personality to the iPhone 18 Pro Redesign

The leaked video also reveals fresh colour options that could debut with the iPhone 18 Pro redesign. The three shades shown are Burgundy, Brown, and Purple. The Burgundy finish, in particular, stands out as a bold departure from Apple’s recent Pro colour palette, which has leaned toward muted metallic tones.

These new colours suggest Apple may be aiming to give the Pro lineup more visual character while still maintaining its premium appeal.

Button and Hardware Tweaks Expected

Beyond aesthetics, the iPhone 18 Pro redesign may also include functional upgrades. The render hints that Apple could replace the current capacitive camera button with a pressure-sensitive alternative. This change may offer more tactile feedback, making it easier to capture photos and videos with precision.

While full specifications were not revealed, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display. Meanwhile, the larger Pro Max variant could reportedly pack a 5,100mAh battery, signaling a focus on longer battery life.

Possible Launch Timeline

If Apple sticks to its traditional schedule, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are likely to launch in September 2026. The standard iPhone 18 model may arrive later, possibly in 2027. As with all early leaks, these details should be viewed cautiously, but the iPhone 18 Pro redesign leak already paints a picture of a bold new direction for Apple’s flagship lineup.
