MODON JINGDONG Partnership Fuels Saudi Industrial Growth

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has partnered with JINGDONG Property, JD.com’s global infrastructure platform, to develop 2 million square meters of industrial and logistics assets across key Saudi regions.

Enhancing Vision 2030 Through Smart Infrastructure

The strategic collaboration aims to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals by advancing the country’s industrial and logistics infrastructure. The first project, in Jeddah Industrial City, will feature sustainable, Grade-A speculative warehousing certified under BREEAM Excellence standards.

Eng. Majed Rafed Al-Argoubi, CEO of MODON, emphasized that the partnership would drive industrial growth, boost local content, and increase private-sector involvement in the Kingdom’s expanding infrastructure sector.

Smart Logistics Solutions from MODON JINGDONG Partnership

JINGDONG Property will bring expertise in smart logistics to the project, which includes incorporating advanced automation and sustainable designs. The facility will meet the growing demand for logistics space across industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, food, and pharmaceuticals in the western region of Saudi Arabia.The Jeddah project, expected to serve industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, food, and pharmaceuticals, is designed to support the logistics ecosystem with cutting-edge features aimed at boosting operational efficiency.

The partnership also strengthens Saudi Arabia’s position as a competitive global investment destination, offering attractive opportunities for institutional capital and international investors looking to tap into the Kingdom’s expanding industrial sector.
