Empowering Youth with Future-Ready Skills

The Samsung Innovation Campus programme focuses on providing students with practical, job-relevant skills in emerging technologies. In Bengaluru, 1,100 students received certification in Artificial Intelligence, while 900 students were certified in Coding & Programming. This hands-on training, aligned with industry demands, is designed to enhance the employability of young learners and prepare them for real-world challenges in the tech space.

Strengthening Karnataka’s Innovation Ecosystem

The programme, operational across 10 states in India, contributes to the Government of India’s Skill India Mission by equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in an evolving digital landscape. Samsung’s SIC programme in Karnataka will play a pivotal role in supporting the state’s status as a leader in innovation and talent development.

Commitment to Inclusion and Gender Equality

With a focus on inclusivity, Samsung’s programme has seen a remarkable 45% female participation, underscoring its commitment to equitable skilling opportunities. Alongside technical training, the programme also provides soft-skills development and placement support to ensure students are fully prepared for the workforce.

Expanding the Reach of Future-Tech Education

Launched in India in 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus aims to broaden access to future-tech education, especially in underserved and semi-urban regions. In collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI), Samsung is working to close the skills gap and empower India’s youth to take on leadership roles in technology and innovation.

Samsung’s Ongoing Commitment to Skilling and Innovation

Through initiatives like Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and Samsung DOST, the Samsung Innovation Campus reflects Samsung’s long-term strategy to enhance India’s digital ecosystem and drive sustainable development. By preparing the next generation of leaders in AI and coding, Samsung is helping shape India’s future in a rapidly digitizing world.
