Rove Hotels, the Dubai-born lifestyle hotel brand, is preparing to announce its second Riyadh property within weeks or months, as part of its ambitious expansion plans in Saudi Arabia. The hotel brand, which made its Saudi debut earlier this year, is poised to expand rapidly in the Kingdom, driven by rising demand for mid-scale and lifestyle-led accommodations.
Rove Hotels’ Strategic Expansion in Saudi Arabia
Speaking exclusively to Arabian Business, Paul Bridger, Chief Operating Officer of Rove Hotels, confirmed that the brand’s first property in Riyadh was just the beginning. “We’ll probably do multiple hotels in Riyadh. I hope we’ll be announcing our second hotel within weeks or months,” he shared.
Rove’s approach mirrors its Dubai strategy, focusing on prime locations and neighborhood-driven design while maintaining its casual, service-led culture. With Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 driving a surge in tourism and business growth, the expansion into Riyadh makes perfect sense for the brand, which has identified a gap in the market for accessible, lifestyle-focused hotels.
Strengthening Presence in Saudi Arabia and Beyond
Rove Hotels aims to replicate its Dubai success in Riyadh and other major Saudi cities, with plans for further expansion in Egypt and Oman. The brand’s appeal lies in its combination of affordable luxury and localized hospitality, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
“We definitely want to be in the major cities in Saudi, we want to be similar in Egypt and similar in Oman. So we’re looking to at least double, if not more,” Bridger added, emphasizing Rove’s commitment to scalable growth in the region.
As Saudi Arabia continues to grow as a tourism and business hub, Rove Hotels is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the demand for mid-scale hotels, making its presence felt across the Middle East.
