Camera Upgrades: Enhanced Lens and Coating Technology

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will come equipped with a 200MP primary camera (ISOCELL HP2), providing an even better photographic performance than its predecessor. A new lens and enhanced coating technology will specifically target lens flare, a common issue that causes unwanted light reflections in images. This update is expected to lead to sharper, more vivid photos without the distracting flares often seen in bright environments.

Improved Camera Specifications

Leaks have suggested that the S26 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup, including:

  • 200MP primary sensor (ISOCELL HP2)
  • 50MP ultrawide sensor (Samsung JN3)
  • 50MP periscope telephoto (IMX854)
  • 12MP telephoto sensor (Samsung S5K3LD)

The 12MP selfie camera (Sony IMX874) will also benefit from improvements, making this one of the most powerful camera setups on any smartphone.

Aperture and AI Tuning: Aiming for Better Performance

In addition to the new lens, the S26 Ultra will feature an f/1.4 aperture on its primary camera, allowing more light into the sensor for better low-light performance. Samsung is also implementing AI-powered tuning to further refine the camera’s image processing, ensuring crisp details and natural skin tones across a variety of environments.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be a camera powerhouse, delivering improved photography quality with a focus on reducing lens flare and enhancing overall performance. As rumors continue to surface, the S26 Ultra will undoubtedly offer a compelling upgrade for those seeking better mobile photography.
