Belkin Wireless HDMI Adapter Debuts at CES 2026

Belkin wireless HDMI

Belkin wireless HDMI technology is taking center stage at CES 2026 with the launch of a new adapter that connects devices to displays without cables or Wi-Fi. Designed for laptops, tablets, and smartphones, the adapter promises long-range wireless video transmission while avoiding the limitations of platform-specific casting systems.

The new solution targets users who want a simple, hardware-based way to share screens in hotel rooms, offices, classrooms, or conference halls.

Belkin wireless HDMI works without Wi-Fi
Belkin HDMI relies on a dedicated transmitter and receiver rather than a shared network. Users connect the USB-C transmitter to a compatible device and plug the HDMI receiver into a TV, monitor, or projector.

Because the system does not require Wi-Fi, apps, or drivers, it works across platforms. Any device capable of sending video over USB-C can use it, regardless of operating system.

Long-range wireless display up to 131 feet
One of the standout features of wireless HDMI is its range. Belkin says the adapter can transmit video up to 131 feet, making it suitable for large rooms and flexible presentation setups.

The system uses a 5GHz wireless connection that can pass through walls, though performance may vary depending on building materials and layout.

Belkin wireless HDMI supports full HD video
The adapter delivers 1080p video at 60Hz, which is ideal for presentations, streaming, and general productivity. While it does not match the convenience of native solutions like AirPlay or Chromecast, it avoids their compatibility limits.

As long as a display has HDMI and the source device supports USB-C video output, the connection works the same way every time.

Multiple transmitters add flexibility
Belkin wireless HDMI also supports multi-device use. Up to eight transmitters can pair with a single receiver, allowing users to switch between devices without unplugging hardware from hard-to-reach displays.

This feature makes the adapter especially useful in meeting rooms, classrooms, and shared workspaces.

Power requirements to note
The HDMI receiver requires power through a USB-A port. If a display does not provide USB-A power, users will need a wall outlet and a separate power adapter.

Belkin notes this as a tradeoff for maintaining a stable, Wi-Fi-free wireless connection.

Pricing and availability
Belkin wireless HDMI is expected to launch in select markets in the first quarter of 2026. The adapter will retail for $149.99.

Belkin wireless HDMI targets professionals and travelers
Belkin HDMI fills a gap between simple wired adapters and network-dependent wireless casting. By focusing on reliability, range, and platform independence, Belkin is positioning the adapter for professionals, educators, and frequent travelers.

As CES 2026 highlights smarter and simpler connectivity tools, Belkin wireless HDMI stands out as a practical solution for untethered screen sharing.
